Throughout the school, the National Curriculum forms the framework for what is taught, from the Early Years programme through to Key Stage 2. SATS tests are voluntarily taken as a means of assessing pupils progress against the national norm at both Key Stages 1 and 2. However, with enthusiastic subject specialists, who truly love their areas of expertise, heading up each department, pupils are extended well beyond the basic learning objectives of the National Curriculum and they experience more advanced levels of teaching, preparing them to a high standard for the next stage in their school careers.
