Kindergarten and Reception

Ages 2 years 9 months to 5 years

Children in the Early Years department are able to enjoy the close care and attention of our well-qualified and experienced staff right from the start.

The children are encouraged to develop independence and social skills, whilst at the same time beginning to build firm foundations for literacy, mathematics and science. Importance is also given to the physical aspects of early education, and the three and four year olds divide their time equally between the outdoor and indoor learning environments. Children in Reception take part in PE, swimming and games on a weekly basis.

Music also forms part of the Early Years curriculum, and all children have access to a music lesson from the earliest days.
