Data protection
The Foundation and Alumni Office gathers the personal information of Reigatians to maintain contact between them and the school, to offer services such as reunions and the Network Reigatian scheme, as well as providing opportunities for Reigatians to support the school.
Reigate Grammar School holds all information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988. Your personal information will not be sold or passed to any bodies not associated with the school with the exception of contractors or agents employed by the school to provide services such as mailing and printing. The school may use your information to contact you in the future about services such as Network Reigatian, reunions and other events, ways to support the school and other initiatives of interest to Reigatians.
Reunion Attendance List
If you attend a reunion we will ask for your permission to include your details in an attendance list.
Network Reigatian
If you choose to join Network Reigatian by completing and returning a Network Reigatian form you are authorising the school to share the information you provide with other participants in Network Reigatian, and giving your agreement to be contacted directly by others in the network. You may opt out of Network Reigatian at any time by contacting the Foundation and Alumni Office. For more information see the Network Reigatian page.
Contact with other Reigatians
We will not pass on your personal details without your permission. The Foundation and Alumni Office will act as an intermediary if you wish to make contact with RGS friends. For example, if we have their email details we can forward an email on your behalf.
Your details
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we have about you, and to correct any inaccuracies.
