The Careers Department provides advice and information on both future careers and entry to university. This begins when students are in the Third Form (Year 9) and continues throughout their time at the school. Advice includes optional aptitude tests, taken in the Fourth Form, and the annual Careers Convention where students can find out about a wide range of careers and professions.
We attach particular importance to the task of advising students about the right path to take after leaving school. A team of experienced staff, working under the direction of the Head of Careers, is available to help students whenever key decisions need to be made. The resources of a well-organised library are supplemented by university visits, talks by visiting speakers and the opportunity for work experience.
