The majority of pupils join the school in the term of their 3rd Birthdays into Green Shoots or directly into Reception the Autumn Term following their 4th Birthday. They then progress on through Years 1 to 6. The Upper School (Year 3) begins at age 8.
Places are only offered to children entering Years 1 to 6 subject to satisfactory assessment and at the discretion of the Headmaster.
There are currently 16 Choral Scholarships at any one time; details are available from the Master of Choristers.
The school week and terms
The teaching week is from Monday to Friday. Pupils who are members of school teams will be required to attend on occasional weekends.
Parents will be notified of the dates of terms and holidays well in advance. With the exception of the October break all half terms are of one week’s duration.
