Founded in 1675 through the benefaction of Henry Smith, Reigate Grammar School has experienced a long history of philanthropic support. As one of the leading co-educational schools in the country there is a clear vision of how we want to broaden social access, enhance educational opportunities and develop our facilities as we move towards our 350th anniversary.
The Reigate Grammar School Foundation exists to embrace friendship and cultivate a culture of philanthropic support. We strongly believe in the quality of education that RGS provides for all its pupils as it looks to develop the whole child. We aim to promote confidence and independence built upon our core values of honesty and integrity. Through the promotion of a caring environment we aim to establish long term friendship and association.
As we look to our present needs and future developments it is clear that we require the support and involvement of the whole Reigatian community. We recognise that success will only be achieved if people feel good about giving and are valued in the process. To that end, The Foundation and Alumni Office are keen to engage with you and ensure that your interest and support is both valued and respected throughout.
All donations make a significant difference, no matter how large or small, and are greatly valued by the school. Today, our pupils are benefiting from past support and encouragement, and the generosity of our existing donors. Our future success depends upon the benevolence of the whole Reigatian community and we invite you to contribute with them and help shape the future of our great school and the pupils therein. All gifts received go to The RGS Foundation which operates as a distinct part of the school charity (Registered Charity number 1081898).
