The RSM Community

Visitors to Reigate St Mary’s often comment on the school’s warm and welcoming environment.

This happy atmosphere is something we cherish and is a direct result of our strong community. From our pastoral care to our focus on positive relationships with pupils and their families, community is at the core of school life.

An active ‘house’ system operates to engender team spirit and promote healthy competition. Quizzes, inter-house sports events and fun-packed activity days are enjoyed by pupils of different ages who come together in their house groups, supported by staff and parents.

From our pupils’ earliest days here, emphasis is placed on good relationships, care for one another and an appreciation of our responsibilities in the wider world. We raise money for local, national and international charities throughout the year and take seriously our role regarding environmental issues at a local and global level.

FOSMA – the Friends of St Mary’s Association
FOSMA, the Friends of St Mary’s Association, arranges a number of fund-raising events each year for the benefit of present and future pupils. FOSMA also supports the school at sports and open days and provides an enjoyable social network for families.

Funds from events such as comedy nights, sports events and the annual Summer Ball, have provided the school with a new minibus, play equipment and an outdoor play shelter.

Testimonials...

When my children get up in the morning, they want to go to school. I never had that at their last school.
