What’s been going on at the various House Meetings
In Osmond House we welcomed two new children. We considered our school value for this half term, TRUST, and our thinking skills focus, which is COLLABORATION. To illustrate this we gave out sports team awards and watched a YouTube clip on the theme of ‘Trust’.
Mr. Hollands
In Searle we welcomed new pupils, gave out team awards for hockey and football and talked about the importance of trust and collaboration.
Miss Squib
In Malcolmson we reflected on the Autumn Term. We talked about a new year and how it is good to look back on the previous year and think of things we did well and not so well. We also thought about challenging ourselves and trying something new or working on something we find difficult. We talked about an inspirational person in 2015 that overcame a difficulty in order to challenge herself and achieve something.
Mrs. Bessant
In Hobson we discussed New Year’s resolutions. We thought of lots of great targets we can set ourselves such as achieving more House Points by trying hard and doing things to the best of our abilities.
