Deputy Head’s Assembly – Collaboration

Mrs Wright told the children about a famous logic problem that requires special skills. It is called ‘The problem of the Tower of Hanoi’ which was invented by the French mathematician, Edouard Lucas in 1883, based on an Indian legend.

Certain rules have to be obeyed to be able to ‘move the mountain’. The Children worked in teams to try to solve the puzzle in stages.

They were resourceful and full of ideas. Collaboration was the key to unlocking the problem.
