Year 4 visit Cranston Library

On Wednesday morning, both Year 4 classes visited St Mary’s Church as part of their topic on the history of Reigate. They especially wanted to see the Cranston Library, the oldest lending library in England, which is tucked away above the church vestry. The children were amazed to see so many precious books, which are stored in such a small room. Reverend Fox also talked to the children about the history of St Mary’s Church.
