Mrs Covey visits Reception….

Mrs Covey visited the children in Reception to talk to them about some of the work with Animal Asia that she has been doing recently.

Mrs Covey and her family visited the Animal Sanctuary in Vietnam in March and helped the staff there to look after some rescued Moon Bears. Reception children were shown video clips and some lovely photographs and everybody could see just how much character these bears have and how important it is that they are looked after properly.

Thank you to Mrs Covey for giving up her time to share her experiences. Animal Asia receives some funding from the David Shepherd Foundation. Reception children were visited by representatives from the David Shepherd Foundation in February and so had already heard a little bit about the conservation work of this charity.
