Reception discover tadpoles…

Reception children had been fascinated by the frogspawn they discovered in the pond last term.

When they went back to look at it this week (armed with magnifying glasses), they were very excited to find lots of tadpoles which were “quite fat but they haven’t got any legs yet”.

They also saw pond skaters, water snails and some as yet unidentified nymphs. It was interesting to see so much life in the murky water.

They will visit regularly to see what happens next.
