The Eco Committee…..

It was another interesting and fun filled Eco Committee meeting on Tuesday. The children made natural popcorn bird feeders and were then tasked with the job of hanging them on a tree of their choosing in the school grounds. The state of the classroom floor was evidence of the Committee’s creativity!

The children discussed the performance of the tulip bulbs which were given to the Eco committee at Christmas. It has been interesting to watch them grow.

Tyra told everyone about an environmental competition that she is entering and suggested that all the Eco Committee members entered too. What a great idea!

Finally, as Mr Culverwell has asked the Eco Committee to come up with some names for the new Outdoor Classroom, there were many and very varied suggestions.

More information coming soon!
