Year 5 enjoy a trip to the K2 climbing wall…….

As the Ice Worlds topic was coming to an end, Year 5 set off on their Fabulous Finish to the K2 climbing centre. Before the trip all of Year 5 considered how best to stay safe on the trip and how to help and encourage their peers. Once at the climbing centre, the children were taught how to put their harnesses on and the essentials for tackling the different climbing routes. All children showed courage and determination, many exceeding their own expectations. Tyra commented, ‘I achieved far more than I thought I would be able to do and I am very proud.’ Thank you to Annis who was the photographer for the morning,  capturing lots of great moments from the trip.
