Headmaster’s Roundup 9 February 2017
This has been an incredibly busy but exciting week. Monday morning started with a dance display by Georgia Rushby and Kyra Drabble who were promoting dance but also explaining that, to attain a really high standard, hours of practise are required and you do have to overcome disappointments. This is all part of our Growth Mindset initiatives.
Later that morning Year 6 had a most informative Science talk from Dr Banerjee all about the heart. In the afternoon there were interesting Mental Health Workshops for Years 3-6 followed by a twilight INSET for all of the staff .
On Tuesday, Green Shoots had an exciting trip to Priory Park and then on Wednesday we enjoyed a brilliant Assembly from 4G all about the history of Reigate.
The week after half term we will be holding a Green Heart day. The idea is that the children make a green heart out of recycled materials and wear it to help us remember the importance of caring for the environment because the environment cares for us.
Have a wonderful half term break.
