Year 4 give an interesting assembly on the history of Reigate…..

Year 4 have been enjoying learning all about the history of Reigate. On Wednesday, they had a very interesting visit to the oldest lending library in England, which happens to be just across the road from the school! The Cranston Library is just a small room above St Mary’s Church vestry and was opened in 1701. The trustees kindly opened the library and told the children all about its history.

Earlier that day, 4G put on a wonderful assembly presenting the history of Reigate to a fascinated audience of parents and children. The costumes really made the story come to life and the children spoke with great confidence, making the presentation fun and informative. Well done 4G!
