Headmaster’s Roundup 20 April 2017

Welcome back everyone. I hope that you all enjoyed a fantastic break over Easter.  We have a new look to our bulletin and I am sure that you will enjoy reading the interactive format. You can keep up to date with all the children’s activities by liking our new Facebook page and following our Twitter accounts, RSM Prep School, RSM Early Years and RSM School Sport. School notices can be found on the website and there is a link to the relevant page further down the bulletin (the Achievement Assembly list is attached to this page). The children who are in the Achievement Book will be featured in a special website gallery each week. You can also find information relating to the school calendar, sports website and payment portal at the end of the bulletin.

At Reigate St Mary’s we have enjoyed being back into the swing of term and the children have loved the fine weather allowing them to get out onto the Bund enjoying the grounds and, of course, starting the Summer team sports. During the Easter break Mr Williams ran the ever popular holiday club and a small amount of development work went on including some extra artificial grass in the EDEN area (our FOSMA eco area) allowing the children to use this all year round. Following an alien spacecraft crashing on our grounds early on Tuesday morning Year 6 swung into full investigative mode as part of their Combined Humanities stunning start in the study of space. The full story is in our news section.

This term we are looking forward to a number of residential trips, outings and more stunning starts, marvellous middles and fantastic finishes to the children’s Combined Humanities and I will bring you update on these as the weeks roll by.
