The Upper School Poetry Competition…

Fantastic Poetry!

In a hot hall, on a sunny Friday afternoon, the children of Years 3 to 6 sat entranced as the finalists for the Upper School Poetry Competition performed their pieces, which is testament to just how entertaining those children’s performances were!

Thanks go to: the judges, Tali Glyn-Jones and Calum MacPherson, the staff, who listened to every child in their class perform, to the parents who kindly helped their children choose poems, and helped them learn them, but most of all to the children who demonstrated that poetry can be genuinely entertaining!

Well done to our winners:

The winner for Year 3 was: Sophia M

The winner for Year 4 was: Georgia

The winner for Year 5 was: Thomas

The winner for Year 6 was: Sophia C

The overall winner was Sophia M from Year 3.
