Year 1’s African adventure assembly…

On Wednesday Year 1 took the school on an African adventure where they thought they had discovered a giraffe who could not dance. Little did they know that when Gerald found the right music nothing could stop his incredible dance moves! Their performance clearly emphasised the fact that if you choose to adopt the right mind-set everything is within your reach. As Year 1 said, you just have to have self-belief and the determination to succeed, and you will. Year 1 were keen to show everyone how they have been embracing the ‘Growth Mind-set’ approach and the Year 1 team are extremely proud of how well the children conveyed this message. Well done Year 1!
