Welcome Back….
I trust that you have all had a lovely Summer holiday and were able to spend some quality time with your children. I am looking forward to the start of the new term when we welcome 54 new children and 10 new members of staff. Over the holidays a variety of activities have taken place including the ever expanding Holiday Club run by Mr Williams and the French trip to Normandy run by Mr Hollands. Both of these were tremendously successful. Development work on the site has included the resurfacing of our top Multi, refurbishment and expansion of some of the offices and peripatetic music rooms and the refreshing and replacement of some of the outdoor facilities in the Early Years.
Over the holidays the teachers have been updating schemes of work, preparing new resources and refreshing classrooms, ready to welcome their new classes in. The school will start at the normal time of 8.25 am on Wednesday, 6 September (Breakfast Club will be available at 7.30 am as usual.). We will get back into the normal timetable during that morning and therefore Years 5 and 6 will have Games lessons in the afternoon and the children will need to come ready for soccer and hockey. Boys and girls will need shin pads and the girls will also need their gum shields for hockey. Years 3 and 4 Games lessons will begin on Thursday, 7 September, so boys and girls will need shin pads and the girls will also need their gum shields for hockey. Please check the website for more information regarding your child’s sports this term using the link below

Green Shoots children will be joining us beginning the week of Monday, 11 September.
If the weather is kind to us the children may choose to wear their Summer uniform (optional) until the October half term after which all pupils should wear the Winter uniform.
