Headmaster’s Roundup 2 November 2017
I hope that you all enjoyed the half term break and that your children feel well rested and ready for this busy half term in the run up to Christmas.
During the holiday Mr Williams and his team ran another very successful Holiday Club. If anyone would like to make use of this facility in the future do please contact the School Office. Also during half term Mrs Glynne-Jones ran a Choir tour to the south coast. Parents I spoke to said that they were really blown away by the quality of the singing and the wonderful acoustics when they sat in the stalls at Chichester Cathedral.
Despite being back just a few days we have enjoyed a number of special events this week including exciting Reception class trips to the bakery, Year 1’s outing to Wisley and 5B leading our Assembly on Wednesday morning sharing their knowledge of the gunpowder plot along with some excellent poems and dancing.
Next week we will be holding our annual Remembrance Day Service and anyone who would like to attend would be most welcome. Poppies are available from the Reception Desk for anyone who would like to buy one.
I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the FOSMA fireworks tomorrow evening – the weather looks as though it is going to be perfect for that event.
