A wonderful evening of music at Cadogan Hall

The choristers had a spectacular experience last Thursday when they joined forces with RGS music students and choirs from Chinthurst and Micklefield in a large scale concert at Cadogan Hall. This is a London venue, just off Sloane Square and the home of The London Philharmonic Orchestra.
The choristers had a solo slot in a programme packed with musical delights such as a moving rendition of the first movement from Elgar’s cello concerto, played superbly by former RSM student, Yasmin Herbert. They also took to the stage along with another 130 students to sing in a grand finale of ‘Queen’ songs, arranged for massed voices and band, raising the roof with a rousing version of ‘We are the champions’ to bring the curtain down on a wonderful evening.
