Sports Roundup 15 November 2018

A relatively quiet week of sport this week. On Tuesday the U8 boys played their last football fixtures of the term. There were some exciting matches, particularly in the C’s which finished 4-4, showing just how much the boys have progressed. The A’s were beaten by a very strong Lingfield side and the B’s lost a very close match 2-1. On Wednesday, the U10 hockey girls played Micklefield, with the A’s winning 5-2 and the B’s also had a very impressive 7-0 win.

Last Thursday, the U9 football boys played their last football matches in a triangular with Caterham and Hawthorns. It was an excellent way to finish the term with 6 victories and 1 draw out of the 7 matches that they played. On Friday, the U11 hockey girls took part in the East Grinstead Hockey tournament, finishing plate runners up after going to penalties in the plate final. On Saturday, the U10 hockey girls travelled to St Georges for the St Georges hockey tournament and despite drawing 2 and losing 3 of their matches, they played some excellent hockey throughout the morning. Well done to everyone involved.
