A lovely Informal Music Concert..

Tuesday saw our first Informal Concert of the year and what a pleasure it was! Twenty children performed on a range of instruments in the beautiful acoustic of the RGS Recital Room. The performances ranged from prep test to Grade 7 standard and all children demonstrated confidence and a high level of musicality. Many of the children who performed are taking ABRSM exams next month and found the experience invaluable preparation. Our thanks go to Mr. Richard Hare for providing piano accompaniment and other RGS staff for their practical support.  Also to our wonderful team of peripatetic teachers who helped the children prepare so well. The next informal concert will be in the Summer term as we have our interhouse music event in the Spring term.
