Kindergarten visit the library..

Kindergarten visited Reigate Library this week as the ‘Stunning Starter’ for their topic ‘Will you read me a story?’ They walked to the library, and were greeted by the librarians who read them some stories, sang some songs, and gave an interesting talk about what actually happens in a library. Then they split into three groups, and decorated bunting with their favourite story characters, learned how to scan a book in and out, and went on a treasure hunt. Finally, they had a lovely walk back to school. The children all behaved brilliantly, and were a credit to Reigate St Mary’s.  A big thank you to parent helpers Mrs Hassan, Mrs Bhatiani and Mr Hall who helped make the trip so much fun!
