RSM and Loveworks

On Saturday afternoon our choristers sang to a Church Hall full of senior citizens from the areaconnected with the charity Loveworks. As ever the children sang beautifully but what made me even more proud was the way they sat and chatted with the elderly folk afterwards, showing great respect and kindness. We live in a world that it is so busy, it is often hard to find time for the important things in life. I am sure that we all agree that honouring the generations that have gone before us, who have paved the way and established our stable and prosperous societies deserve at least a little of our time and gratitude and I know that they all enjoyed the incredibly high standards of singing. A big thank you to Mrs Glynne-Jones and Mrs Nicholson for organising the Twilight Tea event.
