Forest School

Year 1 have had so much fun at Forest School this week. Their first activity was to meet a tree. This involved feeling the tree, describing what it felt like, looking for other evidence around the tree and helping to name it. Then, working with a partner, they tried to identify a tree when blindfolded, just by how it felt! They did some tree art using discs from a trunk which they decorated with feathers and drilled holes in so they could be threaded on a piece of string. They also made bridges, mud mountains and so much more!
