The New Classroom Building is Well Underway!

Over recent years the school has grown in popularity and therefore in numbers. To accommodate this, we are adding a new four classroom block which will house our Year 5 and 6 classes from the Autumn of 2021. The classrooms will be spacious, well equipped and comfortable; benefitting from eco-friendly heating, good insulation and bright LED lighting. Building is well underway and we are looking forward to completion in October.

The benefits of this new classroom block go beyond providing excellent dedicated classroom space for Years 5 and 6. It will free up other classrooms to accommodate, amongst other things, fully dedicated art and science spaces and more space for drama, music ensembles and dance. The fantastic FOSMA team have raised funds for special equipment for art and science, as well as the fitting out of a new ‘Wellbeing Hub’, which will provide a wellbeing focussed space to support pupil’s emotional and social needs.

All in all, a fantastic addition to the school site!
