Remembrance

This morning we observed remembrance with a fitting church service followed by the laying of a wreath in our own Garden of Remembrance, situated at the bottom of the site.  As always the choir sang magnificently, and one of our senior school pupils played the Last Post.  After the service Years 5 and 6 processed to the garden of remembrance to specifically remember those whose names are upon the war memorial there, former choristers and members of the local community who died in the First and Second World War. Our values leaders laid the wreath and everyone behaved with great reverence and respect. We were proud to have been joined by serving member of the armed forces and RSM parent, Captain Knowles at the service today.
