#RSMFridayFastFive – Mrs Hopkins
Why did you become a teacher?
From an early age I have enjoyed looking after and being with children. It wasn’t until I had my own children that I realised that I wanted to work with other children. I began working at RSM in 2007 and have enjoyed every moment.
Why Early Years?
I love working with children of all ages; however, I think that Early Years children have a lot to offer and are the most enthusiastic learners.
Favourite subjects at school?
I have very happy memories of school and enjoyed most subjects. The subjects I liked the best were art, history, and geography.
Most memorable teaching moment?
As I have been at RSM for some time there are many memorable moments. The best moments are when a child comes to me after a lesson and says, “that was a great lesson I can’t wait for the next one.”
