Remembrance Day 2024

On Tuesday this week, our Upper School gathered for a moving Remembrance Service in St Mary’s Church. Following the service, children, staff and family members took a solemn walk to the Garden of Remembrance at the bottom of the school site where our Year 6 School Council members laid a wreath. Every year we are so impressed with the respectful behaviour of the children as they stand in silence, honouring the fallen; those who have sacrificed so much so that we might know freedom.

Throughout the week at RSM our children in Early Years and Lower School have been creating some impressive poppy art work to commemorate Remembrance Day.
