Forest School in Winter

At Forest School so far this year we have been looking after the birds. We have been learning about, identifying and spotting the different birds in our environment. We have spotted robins, great tits, magpies, wood pigeons and crows so far!

We have also been putting out bird seed for them as it is important to look after them in this cold wintery weather. It was so lovely to see the birds happily munching on our food!

We also have been warming up ourselves, with toasty camp fires and hot chocolate whilst singing camp fire songs. The children have been using our new slack line to really challenge their balance and body skills!
