Every Child, Every Sport

From Reception upwards, the children have timetabled Games, PE and swimming lessons each week.
Our extensive 15-acre site has four football pitches, a hockey pitch, two multi-purpose courts, an artificial cricket strip and a 200-metre grass running track. We also have a fantastic Sports Hall and the use of Reigate Grammar School’s impressive sports grounds at Hartswood.

Our experienced sports teachers are committed to giving every child a positive experience!

PE lessons

  • Lower School: Focus on developing fundamental movement skills via gymnastics, dance and athletic type activities.
  • Upper School: The curriculum moves on to hand-eye coordination, racket skills and dance.

Game Time, Every Time

In Games lessons, coaching is designed to build sportsmanship and camaraderie. We are committed to equal opportunities in sport and if children choose to play a team sport that is traditionally played by the opposite gender, they can do so.

Competitive team sports include:

  • Football
  • Hockey
  • Rugby
  • Netball
  • Cricket
  • Athletics
  • Swimming
  • All children in Upper School have the chance to participate in regular fixtures. Inter-house competitions and the annual Sports Days are always hugely enjoyable events.
  • Children from Reception upwards have swimming lessons in the Reigate Grammar School pool, which is just a few minutes away.

There are also many extracurricular sports clubs that the children can join, which help them to further develop their sporting skills as well as have fun with their friends.
