Visiting RSM

We prioritise relationships with our children over everything else

Visiting Reigate St Mary’s

You are warmly invited to observe first-hand the interaction between our teachers and our children, to experience the ‘feel’ of our school, and therefore to understand the RSM difference.

Which visit is best for you?

As a busy working school, we offer three different ways to visit us.

  • Our ‘Open Mornings’ during the week explore the school from Reception upwards. We don’t include our Early Years (Green Shoots and Kindergarten) on these occasions as we prefer not to overwhelm our youngest children with a large number of unfamiliar faces. Open Mornings are ideally suited to adults as they involve walking all around our site, observing lessons and activities, and meeting our Headmaster and Senior Leadership Team over coffee afterwards.
  • Twice a year in May and October we host ‘Early Years Open House’ events on a Saturday. These family fun mornings are very child-centric and the ideal opportunity to meet the Green Shoots, Kindergarten and Reception teams and to explore our Early Years areas inside and out.
  • Individual tours are available Monday to Friday at 9am or 10.30am on a date to suit you, and are tailored to suit your family’s priorities. Please email Admissions Registrar Jenny Myddleton to arrange a private tour.

Autumn Term 2025 Events

Working Open Morning ~ Thursday 2 October ~ 1030am to midday

See Reigate St Mary’s in action during the school day. Join us to tour our school inside and out, exploring our playing fields, art, science and music rooms, library and IT suites as well as classrooms and the sports hall. Flat shoes recommended!

After your tour, meet Marcus Culverwell, Headteacher, and Sam Selkirk, Lower School Head, and other members of our teaching and leadership teams over refreshments.

Early Years Open House ~ Saturday 11 October – 10-1130am

A fete style event for all the family! Bring babies and toddlers and have our Early Years classrooms and play areas to yourselves, as our pupils are not here. Meet the Green Shoots, Kindergarten and Reception teams and Early Years Head Sam Selkirk, enjoy music sessions, play with robots and visit our Forest School; even enjoy a hot coffee while your little ones are entertained by our play equipment and toys.

Both events will open for registration soon.

Why RSM?

Our Headteacher Marcus Culverwell explains what he believes makes RSM so special.
