This week in Year 5 Maths, pupils have been sharpening their skills in working systematically - a key approach to solving complex problems with clarity and logic.
The children enthusiastically tackled the well-known investigation, King Arnold, exploring a wide range of possible solutions. Using diagrams, tables, and physical resources, they brought their thinking to life and demonstrated excellent problem-solving strategies.
The classroom was buzzing with curiosity and collaboration as pupils shared their ideas, tested their theories, and refined their approaches. It was especially rewarding to see how confidently they applied systematic thinking to break down the problem and consider all possibilities.
Their resilience, creativity, and teamwork were a credit to them, and it was fantastic to see such enthusiasm for mathematical exploration. Well done, Year 5!
