Year 2 made apple crumble in Forest School this week!
The children were split into groups and given jobs to help create the crumble - one group helped chop the apples up and practiced their knife skills, another group helped break the biscuits up using rolling pins and wood to create crumble, while the last group of children collected fire wood and helped Miss Buick create a fire in a fire pit.
The children then added water, cinnamon and a tiny bit of sugar to create a delicious crumble, which of course, we all very much enjoyed eating!
