Trips & Workshops Year 4

On Tuesday, our Year 4 pupils had the incredible opportunity to visit Neasden Temple - one of the most beautiful and spiritually significant Hindu temples outside India.

During our visit, the children took part in an aarti ceremony, experiencing first-hand the peace and devotion at the heart of Hindu worship. They deepened their understanding of Hinduism by exploring its key beliefs, values, and the pillars that guide followers in everyday life.

Our pupils were absolutely captivated by the temple’s exquisite carvings and artwork, and fascinated to learn about the astonishing craftsmanship and global collaboration that went into constructing such a masterpiece!

Beyond admiration, this visit nurtured curiosity, cultural respect, and a deeper appreciation of the diversity that enriches our world. It was a powerful reminder that learning extends far beyond the classroom walls, helping our children grow as global citizens who appreciate the beauty of different faiths and traditions.
