First Lego League ‘Teamwork Makes The Dream Work’ video

On Thursday afternoon, the Year 6 First LEGO League (FLL) teams came together to celebrate their achievements at a special awards presentation. The RSM competition was a fantastic experience, with the children developing their team identities and working collaboratively to tackle a range of challenges. Each team identified a problem within Archaeology and created a presentation to showcase their innovative solution. They also designed robot attachments and programmed algorithms to instruct the robot to complete tasks on the competition table and score points.

Throughout the process, the teams celebrated both their successes and setbacks, learning from each to move closer to their goals. The real value of the experience lay in their journey of discovery, what they learned and accomplished along the way, rather than simply winning.

The celebration marked a fitting conclusion to an excellent competition. The four teams proudly built their own LEGO medals and added to the excitement with a drum roll as the seven trophies were presented.
