Year 6 Girls Advance to Surrey Cup Semi-Finals
On Tuesday, our Year 6 girls’ football team faced Claremont in the Surrey Cup quarter-finals. The match began with a steady start as the girls adapted to the physicality of a strong opposition. Despite several shooting opportunities in the first half, we were unable to convert.
In the second half, the team stepped up their game, showing greater strength in possession and tackling. Annabel capitalised on a goal kick, intercepting and scoring with confidence. Claremont pushed hard for an equaliser, but Winnie W’s outstanding goalkeeping kept our lead intact. A brilliant passage of play from defence saw Noe K take her chance and score a second goal, securing the win. A fantastic team effort - well done girls, and good luck in the semi-finals!

On Tuesday, our U10 and U11 swimmers took part in their first fixture of the year, competing against Caterham alongside Year 7 and 8 students from RGS. The atmosphere was electric as swimmers gave their all in both individual and relay events, showing determination, teamwork and sportsmanship.
It was inspiring to see familiar faces in the RGS squad and to watch older students in action. Many thanks to Mr Maxwell and RGS for organising the event. The scores were close, with Caterham securing a narrow win - a commendable effort from all involved!
