The U8 girls showed great progress in their hockey matches at Caterham this week. All four teams made better use of the wings to drive their attacks forward and demonstrated improved awareness by taking earlier shots when in the scoring zone.
The U10’s travelled to Caterham too this week for two hockey matches. The pitch space was narrow, but everyone improved their use of the wings to attack in the second half. Both teams also showed improved defending when trying to get ‘goal-side’ to mark.
The Year 5 and 6 boys were all in action on Wednesday afternoon in football fixtures, again away at Caterham School. The matches were very competitive, with some excellent individual and team performances on display. Particular praise goes to the B team, as well as the D Red and D Blue teams, who showed real determination and skill throughout their games.
Well done to all the boys for their hard work, effort, and teamwork on the pitch!
