It’s been a fantastic week of sport across the school, with pupils showing great enthusiasm, teamwork, and skill in both football and hockey fixtures.
Football Success Against Banstead Prep
On Tuesday afternoon, the Year 3 boys took to the pitch for a series of football fixtures against Banstead Prep. The A team delivered an impressive 5–2 victory, while the B team played with determination and flair in a close 5–3 loss. The C team also celebrated a strong 5–2 win. Well done to all the boys for their effort and teamwork!
The success continued on Wednesday, as our Boys Colts teams faced Banstead Prep once again. All teams played excellent football, with the A, B, C, and D teams securing well-earned wins. The E team put in a strong performance in a closely fought match, narrowly losing 7–6. Across all fixtures, the boys demonstrated fantastic skill, resilience, and team spirit.
Under 11 Hockey Fixtures with Micklefield
Also on Wednesday, our Under 11 hockey teams enjoyed a lovely afternoon of sport with Micklefield School. All three teams were successful, and it was clear that our passing skills are developing well. A special thank you goes to the RGS Sixth Formers who kindly supported the event by helping with umpiring.
