This week in Kindergarten, the children have been enjoying learning all about the wonderful season of autumn! We’ve been exploring the changes we see around us at this time of year - from the colourful leaves falling from the trees, to the cooler weather and shorter days. The children loved chatting about the animals that get ready for winter and all the fun things we can do in autumn.
One of the highlights of our week was listening to the beautiful story "Leaf Man". Inspired by the illustrations in the book, the children had so much fun creating their very own leaf people! They carefully selected leaves from our garden, thinking about which shapes and sizes would make great arms, legs, heads, and even hair. Every leaf person was unique and absolutely wonderful - just like the children who made them!
