The children had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day today. We began the day with circle time, where everyone had the opportunity to share and look at each other’s books. Throughout the day we enjoyed reading many of the stories the children brought in, and we look forward to reading any that we didn’t quite have time for tomorrow.
The children took part in a range of Paddington-themed activities, including making a marmalade sandwich collage, creating Paddington hats for our bears, and writing postcards to Aunt Lucy.
There were also colouring activities and Paddington-themed maths challenges to enjoy, and of course the children had the chance to try a marmalade sandwich too!
