To complement their current topic, Egg-cellent Eggs, Reception children have been taking inspiration from the recycling project book I Am Not an Egg Box to create their own imaginative egg box projects.
Some children chose to recreate ideas inspired by the book, while others designed completely original creations using their own creativity.
Throughout the activity, the children demonstrated excellent characteristics of effective learning, showing curiosity, creativity and perseverance as they explored different ways to transform everyday materials.
This hands-on experience has also supported their growing awareness of STEAM and ESR, encouraging them to think about sustainability, problem-solving and innovative design. 🥚♻️✨
