This week in Reception, we have continued our exciting Space topic! After reading Whatever Next by Jill Murphy, the children imagined they were the Bear from the story and thought carefully about what they would pack for an adventure to the moon. We heard some fantastic ideas, from tasty snacks and favourite family members to torches for lighting the way in the darkness of space!
The children also enjoyed getting creative by making their own aliens out of playdough and exploring some alien slime. The slime was so mysterious it even turned our hands slightly blue! It has been a week full of imagination, creativity, and lots of fun as we continue our journey through space.
